So light some candles, snuggle up on the sofa with your other half and enjoy some seriously sensual hip-hop.
(Warning: some of these songs may contain language that some people may find offensive.)
Mobb Deep Feat. 112 - 'Hey Luv (Anything)'
Released in 2001 and taken from the album 'Infamy,' with the help of the go to R&B group of the time, 112, Mobb Deep's romantic track showed off a completely different side to the legendary gangster duo.
50 Cent Feat. Nate Dogg - '21 Questions'
50's much-loved song is responsible for what has become one of the most classic lines in Hip-Hop; 'I love you like a fat kid loves cake.' The track showed a different side to 50 Cent, who has so far portrayed himself as a P.I.M.P.
Beyoncé Feat. Jay Z - 'Drunk In Love'
One of the most recent released on the list, husband and wife collaborators Beyoncé and Jay Z gave an insight into their love life with this wild cut from Bey's self-titled album. More frisky than romantic - but it makes the list.
B.O.B. Feat. Bruno Mars - 'Nothin' On You'
B.O.B's debut single, released in 2009, was the song on everyones lips and unsurprisingly debuted at number 1 in the UK singles chart. It's been confirmed that the romantic song was written with a certain someone in mind, but B.O.B. never confirmed who….
The Weeknd - 'High For This'
There's something about The Weeknd's voice that instantly pulls you in, with his slow and sexy song 'High For This' being a prime example. You will pretty much fall in love with him by the end of the song.
G-Unit Feat. Joe - 'Wanna Get To Know You'
When certain artists are paired together they never fail to make great music. And 50 Cent's G-Unit and Joe are two of them (also see Joe Feat. G-Unit 'Ride Wit u'), as they show on this track from G-Unit’s debut album 'Beg For Mercy'. Listen out for when Lloyd Banks goes in with his rap.
Ll Cool J - 'I need Love'
The original ladies man rapper, Ladies Love Cool James flipped the genre when he released this all the way back in 1987. It was considered the 'first rap ballad' and very much sealed his reputation as the ladies man of the rap scene.
Chingy Feat. Tyrese - 'Pullin Me Back'
Before Chingy retired from rap to be a philosopher (true story) he making noughties R&B perfection with hits like 'One Call Away' and above, 'Pullin Me Back.'
J. Cole Feat Miguel - 'Power Trip'
J. Songs that make good ringtones. Cole chose to drop this as his lead single off his Sophomore album 'Born Sinner' and has said that there is a double meaning to the song, while being about a girl, he has also said that it is about his love of Hip-Hop, and that, in his words, the genre has 'got me up all night' trying to make that hit single. Eve Feat. Alicia Keys - 'Gangsta Lovin'
You can tell a track is old school when Alicia Keys is rocking cornrows. This track from way back in the summer of 2002 got into the top 10 in in the UK charts and still sounds fresh.
Kano Feat. Craig David - 'This is the Girl'
This one comes in two distinct flavours. The single version and also, to make things even smoother, an acoustic version. Both featuring Craig David this all English tune reached number 18 in the singles charts when it was released in 2007.
Big Sean Feat. Miguel - 'Ashley'
Confirmed to have been written about his ex (unsurprisingly called Ashley) whom he split up with at the beginning of 2013 (but written while he was still with her. Ouch), this track was from Big Sean's second album 'Hall of Fame' and had R&B star Miguel on the hook.
Nicki Minaj Feat. Chris Brown - 'Right By My Side'
Nicki Minaj repping the ladies with this cut featuring Chris Brown who, if you watch the video, seems like a bit of a third wheel. That's because Nicki Minaj persuaded rapper Nas to appear in the video as her love-interest - who could forget that kiss at the end?
Drake - 'Best I Ever Had'
It's the Drake lyric that makes every girls heart melt; 'Sweatpants, hair tied, chillin' with no make-up on, that's when you're the prettiest - I hope that you don't take it wrong.' Like anyone could ever take that wrong?
Snoop Dogg Feat. Pharrell - 'Beautiful'
Skateboard P's been a ladies man since way before his 2014 studio album 'G I R L' came along. On top of 'Frontin' and 'Angel' he hooked up with Snoop for this noughties classic.
P. Diddy Feat. Ginuwine, Loon and Mario Winans - 'I Need A Girl Part. 2'
Both part 1 and 2 of 'I Need A Girk; would sit comfortably on the hip-hop love songs playlist. The music video itself couldn’t be more hip-hop, with bad boy walks down the street, to bad boy riding of motorcycles, to bad boy baggy clothing (and of course bling) and cars and ladies to match.
Nas Feat. Amy Winehouse - 'Cherry Wine'
Unknown to a lot of people was just how close legend in the game Nas was to Amy Winehouse. The duo recorded various songs together while Amy was alive, but 'Cherry Wine' didn't get released until after she passed, in 2012.
Method Man and Mary J Blige - 'All I Need'

Beyoncé Feat. Jay Z - 'Bonnie And Clyde 03'
All Jay need in this life of sin, is himself and his girlfriend.. Or should we say wife. Epson xp 340 ubuntu driver. The ultimate hip-hop couple have been using 'Bonnie and Clyde 03' as the opening song on their 'On The Run Tour' and it's every bit as good today as it was back when it was released.
Kanye West - 'Homecoming'
It's not easy to find a romantic Kanye West song (if you think 'Bound 2' or 'I Won' are romantic, we urge to to listen again). But his 'Graduation' track 'Homecoming' really is kind of sweet. Hear 'Ye rap about a woman he met when he was three, and clearly still thinks about.
Meek Mill Feat Nicki Minaj & Chris Brown - 'All Eyes On You'
Loving You: 60 Beautiful Love Songs to Show How Much You Care is an entertaining sampler of familiar romantic themes spread out over three discs. The Rhino compilation contains the original versions of 'She’s Gone' (Hall & Oates), ' I Want to Know What Love Is' (Foreigner), 'Kiss from a Rose' (Seal), and 'Breathless' (the Corrs). There's no particular reason why this compilation exists, but the end result is an enjoyable listen.
